It works as advertised, but....

This app does indeed seem to solve the common sync problem between Gmail contacts and IOS contacts. I walked through the process, and came to the point where I was ready to sync, and was met with a popup that said I needed to pay $4, as I had over $100 contacts. Seemed quite reasonable, so I clicked through and purchased without a second thought.

On the next step, a backup was suggested. Seemed like a good idea, so I chose that option. Turns out, this is also an added feature that costs more money. I thought I had already purchased the app?
This sort of thing seems a bit deceptive to me.
